With over 20 years of dance experience spanning Two-Step, West Coast Swing, and Country Swing, Steven Spellman began his journey as an 18-year-old searching for confidence and belonging—something he ultimately found through country dance.
That passion led him to found Forever Country, a dynamic community rooted in connection, growth, and authenticity—on and off the dance floor. Under Steven’s leadership, Forever Country has flourished, hosting weekly group and private lessons, and premier national events like Forever Country Dance Fest and Forever Country Dance Jam. These events unite dancers from across the country to learn, compete, and build lifelong friendships.
Steven’s vision didn’t stop at the dance floor. In 2024, he launched Forever Country Boots, a dance-first western boot brand designed for comfort, performance, and everyday style. Built for dancers by dancers, the brand’s debut lines—The Lacey and The Fowler—are quickly becoming favorites in the country dance world.
A champion for community and connection, Steven is also the founder of the National Country Dance Circuit (NCDC), a judge, a highly sought-after coach, and a passionate instructor known for inspiring dancers to elevate their craft and lead with heart.
Whether you’re joining your first group class, competing in a national Jack & Jill, or slipping into your first pair of GOAT-soled boots, Steven’s mission is simple: to help you feel like you belong.

Lacey Ware is a lifelong dancer and educator with over 20 years of experience spanning ballet, jazz, contemporary, and lyrical styles. After discovering country swing in 2022 in Norfolk, Virginia, Lacey found herself captivated by the spirit of country dance. That love led her to Dallas in 2023, where she studied Two-Step under Steven Spellman and became a driving force in the local and national dance community.
Today, Lacey serves as co-director of Forever Country alongside Steven Spellman. Together, they lead Forever Country Dance Fest and Forever Country Dance Jam, two nationally recognized events that bring dancers from across the country together to learn, compete, and grow. She also teaches weekly group classes, cultivates mentorship programs, and helps guide the creative direction and brand identity of Forever Country.
In addition to her role as an event director and instructor, Lacey is the marketing support behind Forever Country Boots — a performance-driven footwear brand crafted specifically for dancers. The brand’s debut style, The Lacey, was inspired by her own dance journey and designed to move seamlessly from the dance floor to everyday life. With patent-pending GOAT soles, The Lacey represents both grit and grace—just like the dancers who wear them.
Lacey’s mission is to create spaces where dancers of all levels feel seen, supported, and inspired. Through community-building, creative leadership, and a deep love for the art of movement, she continues to shape the future of country dance—one step, one student, and one pair of boots at a time.

But for Devin, dance has always been about more than podiums and placements. He’s passionate about teaching, connecting, and sharing joy—whether he's leading a packed class at a convention or helping dancers refine their basics at a local studio.
